ELOPEMENT — June 2023

I met Erika and Logan early on a June morning in downtown Colorado Springs. We were headed to Garden of the Gods to commemorate their elopement. The air was misty and gentle as we pulled up to the first overlook. It was a minute or two before the sun came out, but when it did, a rainbow emerged. We all screamed for joy.

Later that morning, we headed into quaint Manitou Springs. I learned that Erika and Logan’s first date was at an arcade, so naturally we headed to the Penny Arcade in town. We then wandered around the main street, tasting the minerals in the spring water and ending the morning at a local coffee shop.

They are two of the kindest souls I’ve ever met, and to witness such an idyllic day for them was everything.
